Members’ Suite

The Pathway Home residential treatment program is in the process of developing an area of our website that is specifically designed for use by The Pathway Home members (current residents and graduates) and designated others. We expect that the Members’ Suite (of web pages) will have four main areas:

  1. Member Services

This section would provide a range of services for our members. Examples may include: requesting appointments on-line, communicating with other members; for graduate members, allow on-line meetings with treatment providers; requesting information, etc.

  2. Member Bulletin Board

This section would allow members to post relevant items for others to view. Examples may include: posting of The Pathway Home relevant news; posting of events, meetings, etc.

  3. Member Discussion Board

This section would allow members and graduates to post and discuss a variety of questions/topics relevant to The Pathway Home residential treatment program. Examples may include: providing general support to each other; posting questions/answers relevant to aspects of residential treatment; discussion of ways to use positive coping tools with anger or irritability, etc.

  4. Technology and Treatment Issues

This section would allow members and graduates the ability to view videos and podcasts relevant to their treatment in The Pathway Home program. Examples may include: viewing of podcasts of a member’s (or graduate’s) group leader reviewing concepts taught in the group; viewing videos suggested by a staff member that may help a member or graduate cope with a specific problem, etc.

Programs

The Pathway Home plans to develop a number of special features to our residential treatment program. Each is designed to support and enhance the recovery and transition process of our members and graduates. Two of these programs include:

  1. Big Brothers-This program allows for each newer member to be linked up with a “Big Brother” in the program who will provide support and help to his “Younger Brother” during their stay in the program.
  2. Partners in Learning-This program allows for members and graduates to continue their higher education and to develop/extend employment skills and opportunities.
